Brite Dragon

Finished an Alan Dart Dragon for my sons birthday coming up in November, he loves dragons and collects them.

Wow this guy stands 16 inches high, and is BIG! I do prefer smaller projects, but its amazing what we do for love.

Doctor Doctor!!

Well I finally broke down and went to the Doctor, about the pain in my left wrist and thumb, turns out ( x-ray) I have arthritis in the joints and one is pretty inflamed! So I have to go part time with the Grooming (day job), and wear a brace with a thumb splint, day and night for the next 6 months. Not real sure when I will be able to crochet again, very sad about this, as I just love crocheting, thank goodness I can still knit. And on a lighter note , I do love knitting too!

Moral of this story! Take care of those hands lady's and gents, exercise them, take breaks and happy crafting!

My knitted Panda

Here is my version of the Craft along Panda, however mine is knitted, and in traditional Panda colors. I used the slicker brush on the head and body, (knitted with wool), however I think Alpaca yarn brushes out much nicer.
So if you make one , try alpaca.

Summner Squash

OUCH!

Due to some wrist pain,that has recently developed ( need to go to the Dr) I am going to work on some knitted toys for awhile, and give my pour hand's a break . I told my hubby, I am going to have to change the saying "Made from the heart" to "Made with severe joint pain and love!"
