Nighty-Night Dolls Amanda and Camillla

I have had many requests for a doll pattern that you can easily crochet hair for it. Well these two little girls are the results of my efforts, very simple to make .  Pattern release coming soon  for doll only. The nightgown and  pj's  are free patterns from  "by hook by hand" ,(http://byhookbyhand.blogspot.com/)  and are crocheted on a size #10 crochet thread using the " mini free sprite" clothing patterns .  The fuzzy slipper pattern will be included in my pattern. So you will be able to complete your own night-night dainty doll.

Amanda has cute dbl back braids topped with pink satin bow. she  is wearing a  night gown, of pink and trimmed in white lace.  She also has on some pink fuzzy bed slippers. 

Camilla 's hair is braided and worked into side buns, a sweet little doll in her green and lilac pj's, with purple fuzzy bed slippers.

Ollie the Ostrich

 New "Ollie the Ostrich" pdf crochet pattern is now available for purchase. Cute with long legs and flirty eyes.

Ollie sets at about 12 inches , and is crocheted with Red heart super saver yarn. inexpensive to make and works up quickly.

Wee Felt Mouse

 NEW Wee Felt mouse, dressed in a lacy Pinafore, (dress pattern is a free pattern from By Hook By Hands) .

Felt seems to be the new Rage, and I wanted to make a little Mouse that would stand by herself, she is 4 1/2 inches tall, (yes, I wanted to make her tiny) .  Her tail is an icord , hand knitted,  and the mouse is all hand ladder stitched and stuffed with polyester fiber fill.

Sheep in Socks

This is a little Spring Sheep in hand knit socks, and a knit lace sweater, she is done in rose and pink, She also has little silk pink roses above her ears. Dainty and Sweet , she is 12 inches long. Hand crocheted in a fuzzy acrylic yarn. (For that special wooly effect).

Have you  ever wonder where and why ,  ideas pop into our heads? One afternoon, I told my husband, "I'm going to make a little lamb in socks. " Not sure what the inspiration stems from, but this is the result. Hope you like!

I tied off the hands on my doll, I thought it made her look a little more dainty, and I also crocheted the flower on her head band, rather than knit it. This is a fun sweet Dollie to make , and works up quickly.

"Roar" a wee little Monster , that is hand crocheted and brushed for a nice fuzzy monster effect.

Roar stands 5 inches tall, but for a tiny Monster he makes a lot of noise!! Thus his mum and da named him "Roar"

Egg Cup

New Egg Cup Crochet pattern, I was so tired of placing my family's  pretty (and some not so pretty, he he) Colored Eggs at Easter time, back in an ugly cardboard egg carton, I decided to make an Egg cup to hold and display my grand kids colored eggs. (Yes, it is sturdy enough to place hard boiled eggs in  the cup)  We all meet right before the Holiday and have a color fest.

These work up quick, so there is plenty of time to make some for Easter or how about a complete set of four for that Sunday Brunch table setting,  You could also decorate the cup with cute ami faces .

New Little Hen

Knitted with my Full Cast on, my 2nd project, since surgery.

BIG CAST OFF - LITTLE CAST ON!

The big purple cast is off as of today!! Now I am sporting this cute little number in green. Unlike the purple one, it is removable (for exercise's and bathing only!) But oh, my it feels good to be able to wash my arm and hand!

One month since Surgery, healing slowly, began some physical therapy today. LIght exercises, it is amazing how week my wrist is, and I cannot move my thumb at all. My goal is to be able to touch my pinkie with my thumb within four weeks.
