Dainty Dollies

FREE PATTERN from Jean Greenhowe's web site, you may get your copy here:

http://www.jeangreenhowe.com/patterns.html

I tied off the hands on my doll, I thought it made her look a little more dainty, and I also crocheted the flower on her head band, rather than knit it. This is a fun sweet Dollie to make , and works up quickly.

ENJOY!

Egg Cup

New Egg Cup Crochet pattern, I was so tired of placing my family's  pretty (and some not so pretty, he he) Colored Eggs at Easter time, back in an ugly cardboard egg carton, I decided to make an Egg cup to hold and display my grand kids colored eggs. (Yes, it is sturdy enough to place hard boiled eggs in  the cup)  We all meet right before the Holiday and have a color fest.

These work up quick, so there is plenty of time to make some for Easter or how about a complete set of four for that Sunday Brunch table setting,  You could also decorate the cup with cute ami faces .

Pattern available in our crochet Pattern section, you will receive it with in 24 hours of purchase or sooner... by email.

Happy Easter!

New Little Hen

Little Setting Hen, her legs dangle off the edge of a Shelf or counter.
Knitted with my Full Cast on, my 2nd project, since surgery.

BIG CAST OFF - LITTLE CAST ON!

The big purple cast is off as of today!! Now I am sporting this cute little number in green. Unlike the purple one, it is removable (for exercise's and bathing only!) But oh, my it feels good to be able to wash my arm and hand!
One month since Surgery, healing slowly, began some physical therapy today. LIght exercises, it is amazing how week my wrist is, and I cannot move my thumb at all. My goal is to be able to touch my pinkie with my thumb within four weeks.

Knitting With Cast on!

I have taught myself to knit with the cast on, using the throw method, and bracing the left needle in my fingers, ( not using the thumb), I have been able to finish the Kimono of a Hello Kitty I started before my surgery, She is white (of course) and the kimono is done in a deep purple (like my cast, I did not plan that, just happened that way!!) And a lime green for the Sash and stripes. Will Post her, if I can get her sewn together, that is a whole different challenge.

I do have to rest more often with the cast on, as it gets heavy to hold up, but it still feels good to be knitting again!

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TOO!

Hi followers, just thought I would share a photo  of my hand right after my thumb and wrist surgery! It was done on Jan. 12th and I go on the 26th to get a cast put on, I will wear the cast for two weeks, then change to a splint for two weeks, then 4-6 weeks physical therapy!
The pain is nothing to not being able to knit or crochet!!
So as you can tell it will be  awhile before any new items will be posted...sigh, but I will blog about my progress and post a few photos as I go along.

Got my stitches removed today ( Jan 26th) and now I can type two handed! Yeah!!

The Dr, fixed my wrist joint, thumb joint, and carpel tunnel, their is actually a fourth incision on my palm.
This incision was made to get a tendon to repair the wrist joint.

And Finally I got my beautiful purple cast , which I will wear for two weeks.

JUST MY SIZE HELLO KITTY

Hello Kitty .... Toddler safe, cute Plush and Cuddle fun, Kitty stands 9 inches, and her head is a big 61/4 inches across, very squishy for tiny tots!
Her little dress buttons are sewn on very tight, and hot glued in place....ever try to remove an item from yarn that's been hot glued? Impossible, they would have to be cut off!
This Kitty is being given to a Neighbor's Granddaughter, she is turning 3 years old in a week.
 Happy Birthday to Lilly Hansen!

There is something just so darn cute about this little white cat with no mouth!! She stands 9-10 inches tall. Please contact me if you are interested in making your own , requires simple crochet and dpn experience, Kitty is knit flat on #3.35mm needles.
I am currently working on another HK that is for a 3 year old. She will not have the plastic eyes and nose , but instead I plan on knitting the eyes and nose, it is a custom request for my neighbors little Granddaughter.  Will post soon......
