Intarsia toy knitting

I am going through a fascination of creating and working intarsia toys....here is an example of a couple I just completed.

I have never been a fan of working intarsia, and decided I needed some projects to help me practice the art, as I AM  a fan of the colorful work to look at.

So this is a cute puppy I worked up .

And little Miss Blue Rose, is a pattern I worked up to incorporate the face and hair all in one piece, easy to knit.

That way when your done knitting the doll, your Done!  I liked that idea, because ushally, you then have to go on, and create hair.

This doll works up to be a plush 9-10 inch doll, just perfect for babys first dolly!

Raggae Bunny

 Raggae Bunny,

I started this project, before Easter this year, and I finally got around to adding a little face to him... Not a fan of the flop eared bunnys, but I thought this was cute as a Raggae bunny.

Cutie Pie Collection

This little Charmer is the first ,from a new line of dolls I am working  on, I call "Cutie Pie Dolls"

She stands about 14 inches tall, has little pink panties on under her dress, and all clothing is easily removable .  So the doll can be dressed in different outfits to suit a childs play time and imagination....

More clothes and dolls to come....
